HAZEL BELLE ROGERS, 82, CLARKSTON HOMEMAKER

      BOISE - Hazel Belle Rogers, a Clarkston homemaker, died of a cerebral aneurysm Tuesday at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center at Boise. She was 82.

     She was born Oct. 21, 1908, at Teakean, Idaho, the daughter of Albert and Zetella Roup Kight. She attended Teakean schools through the eighth grade.

     She moved to Asotin County in 1925 and lived there for two years before moving to the Willamette Valley in Oregon.

     On Oct. 29, 1927, she married Frank Leo Rogers in Lane County, Ore. He died Oct. 23, 1975.

     In 1946, she moved back to Asotin County, where she had made her home since.

     She enjoyed sewing, crafts, dancing and fishing, and played several musical instruments.

     Four sisters, Lillian, Myrtle, Laura and Millie, and one brother, Clyde, preceded her in death.

     A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Vineland Cemetery at Clarkston. Merchant Funeral Home at Clarkston is in charge of arrangements.
